A refined residential renovation in Richmond, Victoria, designed by Patrick Meneguzzi from PM Interiors. The contemporary Melbourne project elevates a double-fronted home through spatial recalibration and layered materiality, anchored by bespoke architectural door hardware.

hardware as jewellery

Central to the project is the specification of bespoke architectural hardware. Collaborating closely with Meneguzzi Interiors, Designer Doorware developed custom Cabinet Blade Pulls and Cabinet Montana Lip Pulls engineered to support substantial cabinetry and integrated appliances while aligning seamlessly with the home’s darker finishes.  As Patrick Meneguzzi notes,

“The handles and the hardware are almost like jewelry... You can pick a beautiful kitchen, you can pick beautiful timber.. but if the handles and the door hardware are not up to scratch, then the result is not as impressive."
