our services

We have a depth and breadth of technical expertise developed over many years that spans all aspects of the door hardware business.

bespoke design

If you can draw it, we can make it.

At Designer Doorware, bespoke architectural door hardware begins with an idea, a sketch, or a project-specific requirement that standard ranges cannot answer. Backed by 30 years of in-house engineering expertise, we translate those ideas into tangible form: 3D-printed prototypes you can hold, assess, and refine before a single production piece is made. From custom entrance pulls and lever handles to cabinet hardware, flush pulls, and signature finishes, every bespoke piece is shaped by the architecture, the material palette, and the project's precise intent.

what we offer

Most “custom” hardware companies are middlemen. They take your design, send it overseas, and hope for the best. We do everything in-house.

  • In-house design team
  • 3D-printed prototyping
  • In-house tool-making
  • Precision manufacturing
  • Full finish range

not another "we can customise things" pitch

27 new competitors entered the architectural hardware market — most offering "custom options," few actually manufacturing anything. Designer Doorware is different. We have our own product designers, engineers, and tool makers. We print prototypes on our own 3D printers and fabricate in-house using ABS, stainless steel, and brass. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is a rebadged import.

When you commission a bespoke piece from us, you work directly with the people who design it, prototype it, and build it. That is why our rework rate sits under 0.25%, and why we have been doing this for 30 years.

from concept to your door

You approve at every stage. Nothing goes into production until you have seen it, held it, and signed off on it. You see and hold the product before it is made. That is the fundamental difference. A 3D-printed prototype in your hands eliminates the guesswork, the “it looked different in the render” conversations, and the costly rework that plagues this industry. A 0.25% rework rate is not a marketing claim. It is the direct result of this process.

30 years, zero shortcuts

When you commission a bespoke piece from Designer Doorware, you work directly with the designers, engineers, and makers who bring it to life, from the prototype to the final finish. There are no middlemen, no outsourced fabrication, no rebadged imports. Just a single, accountable team with 30 years of in-house expertise, 150+ custom projects delivered every year, and a rework rate of under 0.25% to show for it. Customers who have tested cheaper alternatives know the difference. Most of them come back.
